Temporal zoom is much like Semantic zoom but uses change over time as a device to explore a problem space. Once again, the aggregate Concept Map is treated as "Zero" in a continuum of concepts. These maps focus on the stages car collectors go through as they join the hobby.
Zoom Level -2 Desire
This map represents the factors that may play into sparking interest in collector car ownership. These concepts precede the actual research and purchasing phases.
Zoom Level -1 Research
Here are the ways a person who wishes to own a collector car might research the purchase of a particular type of car. This diagram reflects the sources and questions to be answered when leading up to a car purchase.
Zoom Level ZERO Find It
This level of zoom corresponds to my aggregate concept map but has been expanded to cover the concepts of watch ownership and maintenance as a phase in the lifecycle of watches and a person's relationship with them as objects.
